Be prepared to run in any weather. We will run RAIN or SHINE. Only in the case of extreme weather will changes to the race schedule occur. Please check our Facebook or Twitter page on race morning for real time updates if there is lightning or other severe weather. If you opted into the emergency alert system when you registered, you will receive emergency alerts via text message on your cell phone.

For the safety of all runners, all running strollers should start in the back of their designated zone. Adult participants must accompany the stroller at all times and assume all responsibility for the child’s participation in the 5k. Also for safety, pets are not allowed on the course or at the event. Please leave your pets at home on race day! All fur kids will be asked to return to their vehicles if spotted at the event.

Girls on the Run 5K race entries are non-refundable. Race Management reserves the right to cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions. Registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to “Acts of God.”

This is a non-competitive, timed race with all #1 bibs. Runners of all abilities are welcome. Walkers and strollers are welcome.

Girls on the Run branded socks, magnets, tees, gloves, hoodies and more will be on sale in the Expo.

Bring your used running shoes to the EcoSneakers tent at the Expo. EcoSneakers collects used running shoes and makes them available as affordable footwear in developing countries or recycles them for green playgrounds. They will donate $0.75/pound to Girls on the Run for sneakers collected at the 5k. You can also recycle them year-round at West Stride
